3High Wannabuy Pty Ltd is an Australian Company registered under the Corporations Act 2001.  The Wannabuy site, trademarks and internet business process are registered under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

In coming to a decision about building this site and the associated business process, we at 3High Wannabuy Pty Ltd considered that most of the auction and brokerage business on the Internet were reflections of the old 'prospects walk in the door in response to advertising' business model.  So, we reasoned, why should anyone need to do that when there is the vast resource of the Internet at everyone's disposal?

As a Wannabuy site user with done deal status, you really only have to walk in one door - the one that you want to walk into because you have already decided on what you want and how much you want to pay for it - and the seller knows exactly what the score is and who you are.

We remembered the Swappers of this world, too.  You only need list what you have to swap - and as a special feature of our business model - what you have to swap in return from either the same category of goods and services or an entirely different one.  So we facilitate bargaining at a brand new Internet top mark.  Think about what you need and then about what you don't need that you already have and then register that swap!  Psst... The services offered by Wannabuy involve introductions.  This site is not an on-line shop or market.  We exist simply to ensure the buyer is introduced to a seller of their choice and people with goods to swap are introduced to those who have what they need. 

The standard shopping process involves the buyer looking at the sellers displayed wares.  This is no bad thing, provided the buyer has unlimited time and resources; but realistically, every time you buy something, you wonder:  could you have obtained a better deal if you'd kept on shopping;  were the sellers you approached the ones offering the best deal; and will you ever know? 

On this site, the buyer defines what they want and it's up to the seller to close the deal.  To a very significant degree, we short-circuit the shopping process, using the power of the Internet.

Those with goods to sell will be active in seeking out the buyer, just as they always have been. This means that the buyer has access to all sellers that come to this site, whereas in the conventional trading relationship, the buyer has to actively seek out sellers.

Some of us are good at that, but the vast majority of us lead busy lives and usually pay the price for not doing sufficient research prior to a purchase.  On the other hand, sellers wonder whether they have the right advertisements; whether their decor and sales staff are suitable; whether all the customers that may be available to them know they exist.

After negotiating through Wannabuy and then being introduced to the seller of their choice, the buyer only deals with the seller with the deal the buyer wants.   Conversely, the seller already knows what the deal with the buyer is, as the negotiations have been done through Wannabuy.  This saves the buyer running about getting prices and the seller can save on advertising.  When the buyer or swapper makes the order for purchase or swap, the 'sale' or 'swap' is virtually already made.  This is a huge saving of time and effort for all concerned. 

Buyers can 'window shop' on the Internet using the vast amount of information thoughtfully provided by sellers on their websites all over the world.  At the browsing level, the buyer can get a very good idea of what is available.  The only questions then are who can sell what they want to them; who can look after them and their purchase after the sale; and what is the best price? This is how the astute buyer can find the exact product they need and then place their requirements in the category of their choice.  Sellers have a ready made group of buyers waiting on our site and to contact these potential customers, they only need to check the categories for the goods and services they have to sell, select the buyer they want to deal with, and then register.
