The 'buy-side swapper' is the person listing the ad.  The 'sell-side swapper' is the person responding to the ad.

Swappers can list what they want to swap or answer a listed swapper request.

You create your own swap ad by listing what you want in the box provided or you can respond to a swapper who has a listing by click on a category that has a listing or by searching in the form provided.  Please visit our Fees page for an explanation of the fee you will need you pay before being introduced to other swapper.

There are some details you must provide in your registration process.  This information is indicated (*) in the Registration web form.

Once you have made contact with a swapper, you can negotiate a deal through Wannabuy.  This negotiation is done anonymously until you have come to a deal and you and the other swapper wish to be introduced.

Items that are illegal to possess or use in your country must not be listed as requirements nor should you respond to an item that is listed by a swapper if that item is illegal to possess or own in your country. Be careful in arranging shipping with your deal partners - an increasing number of materials are being banned from passenger aircraft airfreight or even air freight generally. Check with your national authority for information.

How to register as a buy-side swapper:

1. Go to Categories.
2. Click on the category or sub-category in which you wish to register a swap requirement.  Select the sub-category for that listing if available eg new or used. 
3. Click on Buyer or Swappers click here to list a requirement.
4. Once you have read the Conditions then tick the box if you agree to the conditions.
5. Fill in the description of your swap requirement in the text box provided. 
6. Click on Buy or Swap choices.
7. In drop down menu, you select I want to be a swapper.  You must not opt for Buyer Reveal if you have chosen to be a Swapper.
8. Select the category in which you can offer swaps in the drop down menu. 
9. of what you have to swap in the text box.  This should be filled in so other swappers can see what you have to swap.
10. Click on Your Contact Details.  Fill in your details.
11. Click on Submit information to the Wannabuy site.

You will be advised of any sell-side Swapper's interest by Wannabuy and by clicking on the link in that email advice, you can start negotiations.

How to register as a sell-side swapper:

1. Go to Categories.
2. Fill in the search form.  Select I want to be a swapper in the Buyer or Swapper menu.  You can also use Keywords, Search In all categories, city, postcode or country.
3. If a listing you can respond to comes up in the search, then click on the underlined description of the item.  The Swapping Category should be listed as well as an item listed under Swap Material Available at the bottom of the page. 
4. OR if you can see a listing under a category in which you have an item to swap, then click on that listing, then click on the underlined description of that item.  If the person wants to do a swap, then go to 5 below.
5. Click on Sellers or Sell-Side Swappers respond to this Requirement (at bottom of page).
6. Once you have read the Conditions then click on the button if you agree to the conditions.
7. Fill in the Sell-side swapper Registration form.  
8. Click Submit.

The buy-side Swapper will contact you by email via the Wannabuy site then you can start negotiations.
