Therefore, the transactions to the reveal point are truly anonymous, giving both parties unencumbered ability to negotiate the broad outline of a deal.
Your registration as a buyer, seller or swapper is absolutely FREE of charge from www.wannabuy.com.au - unless you are a seller responding to a buyer reveal requirement and the option of direct contact with that buyer. In that case the buyer concerned offers that option to sellers when they register their requirement. As a seller you need not take that option if it is offered.
Your negotiations with transaction partners is absolutely FREE of charge through the www.wannabuy.com.au site.
On Records Wannabuy don't keep:
Wannabuy does not ask for identity details beyond who and where you actually are - this to ensure the transactions on this site are anonymous between parties to a deal, until the appropriate fees are paid. The information you provide is passed to the dealing partner you have come to an agreement to do a deal with - so bear in mind that trick identities can be utterly useless to all concerned.
Wannabuy destroys these details following finalisation of your transaction, whether that be through successful completion or through a timeout mechanism. We carry the absolute minimum of data on all customers which, in concert with Wannabuy's strong security focus, minimises the risk of revelation of any details of customers to those who would seek to take unfair advantage of that information.
This allows fees to be an industry minimum, as they reflect data costs and bear only passing relationship to the price of items on the site.
In registration, Wannabuy does not want your credit card details, your medicare or social security number or even any reference information - because it is not needed. Wannabuy does not want to store it and certainly does not want to sell it.
The only time credit card details are requred is in association with a payment and, in fact, Wannabuy never see those details unless it is needed to check with the contracted card processing company relating to errors and/or problems with details.
Of course, you can choose to pay by direct deposit, cheque, money order, telegraphic transfer - whatever you choose and thereby remove all risk of credit card fraud from your transaction. When you pay Wannabuy or obtain details of the Wannabuy account, you'll notice your browser popping into SSL mode as a further safeguard.
Inclusion of Images:
Inclusion of images is not facilitated by the 3High Wannabuy Pty Ltd business system. Wannabuy is not a sales outlet and represents neither buyer nor seller.
Given the brochureware available on the Internet, buyers are probably best served by using those facilities to see what a particular product looks like.
Photographs may represent a thousand words, but bear in mind that a good proportion of those words may in fact be used to explain that the photograph may or may not represent its subject truthfully.
Remember, Wannabuy exists to assist buyers, sellers and swappers to find one another and does not wish to become involved in any possible misrepresentations through altered or otherwise less than truthful image based representations of material.
We believe swappers should be familiar with the items they are trading and the photographs may not be necessary at all in the description of a given item.
Of course, once a transaction is complete - the purpose of which has been to place buyers and sellers - or swappers - in touch with one another, you can exchange all the material you wish through normal channels.
That being said, if you feel you really must see a photograph of an item offered, you may contact us and include your deal code. Make it a good story please, but be prepared for a refusal too.
On HTML Email:
Please avoid using HTML email in your communications with Wannabuy - even if only to conserve bandwidth along the way. Wannabuy only uses HTML to send you receipts.
On Virus, Trojans and Scriptbombs etc:
Wannabuy will use the best available methods to scan communications by standard email for Viruses, Trojans and other lethal loads on reception and transmission from the Wannabuy site. Wannabuy asks you not to use attachments in your emails relating to payment or other matters where you are not using our web forms. Wannabuy will delete anything that isn't a recognised Graphics format.
Whoops:
Should you inadvertently (some trojans do this quite well) send Wannabuy a 'loaded' email, reasonable efforts will be made to advise you of the matter. Wannabuy would not expect a reply under these circumstances. |
